Would you like to share some of your garden produce or some fruit from your fruit trees? Or are you just looking for nearby neighbors who might share some of your interests? When the weather is cold and you can't get to the pool to connect with others, we bet some of you spend your time networking online. Cheryl Wheeler has set-up a Yahoo Group for anyone in the Kingsgate 1&2 community who is interested in joining. The purpose of the list is to provide an interactive online communication forum for community members. Yahoo Groups has a listserve (with a Daily Digest or Web Only options to keep your email inbox tidy), a calendar function, easy-to-set-up polls, photo storage capacity, and a place to keep shared files. The group has been set up as private (non-searchable on the Internet). This means that only administrator-approved members will see the information you post and you won't receive spam as a result of joining the group.
